My candle burns at both ends;

It will not last the night;

But ah, my foes and oh, my friends-

It gives a lovely light!

This morning the lovely and inspiring Ismena died of secondary breast cancer, aged just 40.

I never met her in person but knew her through a marvellous Facebook group, of which she was a mainstay.
